Me and my roommate were hit by a car while walking across the street the day after christmas. We are raising three small kids and need assistance to catch up on bills. The person who hit us did not stop. Our lives have been turned upside down by this event.We would like to catch up on bills and take the kids on a trip for easter vacation.

Go on the internet to a site called 'Modest needs'. They often help people out with their bills. When I think of other sources, I'll keep you informed. God bless you.

i used to have WIC when i was in oklahoma but since i moved here they said i dont qualify... or food stamps. I'm in the airfoce and tehy do have n financial office but they only give you advice i tried getting a loan out but they said i couldnt because of all my bills i wouldnt be able to pay... i wouldnt be able to qualify for DAV or VFW becaue im not disable..i'm still thinking what to do...

Hi, For E-5 and below, you should qualify for food stamps, WIC, etc. I do not know which branch of service or which base you are located, but go to the Navy Relief office. Sometimes, they are able to help in matters or direct you where to go. Also, contact some of the service organizations such as DAV, VFW. If you served overseas, other organizations maybe available to help. Does the base you are out of have a financial office to assist soldiers? If so. contact them for other resources in the community. You can also contact 'Military One Source' for assistance. I do not have the number handy, but you can go on the internet and get it. I wish you the very best.
